How We Can Help You

Shelley West has over 16 years of experience using individual Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT). She works with adults (age 18 and older) who are struggling with challenging psychological issues. These issues include, but are not limited to: traumas, depression, anxiety, stress, anger, and grief.  Issues may also relate to difficulties with relationships, sleep and chronic pain. She also has experience helping people struggling with suicidality, OCD, assertiveness, infidelity, and recovering from motor vehicle accidents.

Vanessa Wotherspoon has worked for several regional education centres. She has conducted assessments on behalf of a number of post-secondary and community organizations. The results of an assessment can help to clarify a person’s learning strengths and challenges. A comprehensive assessment also helps students, parents, and teachers better understand a person’s abilities. With this information, they can target support and programming.

Vanessa brings a deep understanding of how learning challenges present in school. She is able to make specific recommendations to help parents advocate for their children’s learning needs. She also believes in helping people discover their own strengths and needs and become their own advocate. Alongside the formal reports, Vanessa writes a youth-friendly report. This second report helps students better understand their own strengths and areas to address. Vanessa can also provide treatment for ages 5 and older within her areas of competency, including behaviourial issues, anxiety, and emotional regulation.

Are you a Survivor of Abuse?
