The best and most beautiful things in the world cannot be seen or even touched - they must be felt with the heart.

Shelley West has experience in individual Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) for adults (age 18 and older) who are struggling with challenging psychological issues such as depression, anxiety, stress, anger, grief, chronic pain, and difficulties with sleep and relationships.

Vanessa Wotherspoon has worked for several regional education centres and has been contracted through a number of post-secondary and community organizations to conduct assessments. The results of an assessment can help to understand a person's profile of learning strengths and challenges. A comprehensive assessment also helps students, parents, and teachers better understand an individual's abilities, and target support and programming. Vanessa brings a deep understanding of how learning challenges present in school, and she is able to make specific recommendations to help parents advocate for their children's learning needs. She also understands the importance of helping people discover their own strengths and needs and become their own advocate. In addition to the formal reports, Vanessa believes in writing an additional youth-friendly report to help students better understand their strengths and areas to work on.

Are You a Survivor of Abuse?

Shelley West also has expertise in working with clients who have experienced domestic violence in order to help them empower themselves to overcome its devastating effects and to make changes to avoid entering into these types of relationships in the future.

The greatest discovery of my generation is that human beings can alter their lives by altering their attitudes of mind                                                        ~ Psychologist William James
